My name is Jaycee Hadley, I was born in Suwannee, GA, but grew up in Norcross. I graduated with honors from Meadowcreek High School in 2022, and completed 3 years of the ECE program (Early Childhood Education I/II and Early Childhood Practicum). During ECE II and Practicum, both of which I took the same year, I rotated positions in lab twice a day for two semesters, working with the children in different ways. This included small group and large group teaching, music and movement, story time, and individual assistant teaching. I really enjoy music and arts and have a fondness for photography and instruments.
My favorite thing about working with children is seeing how they light up when they enjoy what they’re doing, whether it’s sliding down the slide and landing on their feet or figuring out where a piece of a puzzle fits, it’s always so nice to celebrate their small victories with them and watching them develop into something so amazing.
I play piano and ukulele in my spare time and occasionally will pull out my camera to take more high-quality shots of the world in all its beauty.
I am CPR certified. I plan on furthering my education in childcare and earning my TCC so I can further my career in early childhood. Should time and money permit I would love to aim for an associates or bachelor’s degree in the field.
